The Hilux Hood Revo is a full-featured hood or canopy that allows the driver to bring more wind resistance to their vehicle. It offers the same amount of wind resistance as a full face helmet, but with a much cleaner look. The reviews all seem to be positive. This product gives you a clean, modern look, and does not look like you are wearing a helmet at all. It is extremely well built and seems like it could possibly last many more years.
A review I read for this product said that the fit on the front of the bike is very good. They do fit well, but some have complained that it can be snug on the face of the bike when parked. I was not one of those people, and I really like the way it fits. I can now get onto my bike with ease.
When I first got the hood, I was a little put off by the overall look and feel. Many reviews stated that the logo on the front just looks unprofessional, but I think if you look carefully at it, you would agree that it looks exactly the way it should. On the other hand, if you are someone who is serious about cycling and commuting, you will probably find this isn't a product for you. In the end, it is up to you to decide if this is the right helmet for you. Of course, if you love biking and commuting, then you will definitely want to get one of these. The review that I did point out a couple of other pros about this brand of helmet, but in the end, it boils down to a few pros and a few cons.
At the end of the day, you can only go by the reviews that you have read. If you don't care about them, then you should probably skip the review. This is a great helmet, however. The company has put a lot of time and money into this product, so rest assured that it is safe, sturdy, comfortable, and looks good. I would definitely recommend the Hilux Hood Revo to anyone looking for a solid helmet that looks good, performs well, and is reasonably priced.
