"Cover Navara" Book Review

"Cover Navara" is the second in a trilogy of five novels based on the epic and legendary naval battle of the same name between the British Empire and the Portuguese in 1701. Set against the backdrop of the political, religious, economic and social change that was happening at the time, this is a story about what happened to the Portuguese after their victory in the battle. In the series, we learn how the British Empire sought revenge, the way the British navy dealt with the sailors, how the new world changed the way Britain fought in the Caribbean, how the Portuguese fought back and why many of the stories that we are familiar with today began as legend.

In "Cover Navara", Captain Peter Humberden returns from his first cruise in the Caribbean with stories of strange shipwrecks and the presence of pirates. On his return he meets with the captain of the Dutch East Indies ship that had sunk off the coast of the Cape Verdes, the captain tells him that there were no pirates aboard, and that the ship had sunk on account of a storm. The captain tells Captain Humberden that the wreck belongs to the Dutch East India Company and that it will soon be sold. Humberden becomes obsessed with this news and tries to find out what really happened to the ship.

In "Cover Navara", Humberden is assigned to the new flagship of the British navy, the Prince of Wales, which is also known as the Queen Anne's Revenge. It is at this point in time that he discovers that the Prince of Wales was attacked by pirates, who managed to capture one of the crew. This story is a great example of how a story, which is told in order to create a narrative, can become a myth. The Queen Anne's Revenge had been sailing out of India for some time when she was attacked. While Humberden makes it clear that there was no conspiracy involved, it still remains a mystery as to who was behind the attack.

When it comes to "Cover Navara" it's important to note that the novel begins with the story of the pirate attack on the Prince of Wales, and ends with the story of the Queen Anne's Revenge. At the end of the book, Humberden tells us that the pirate ship was destroyed at sea by a British warship. However, he doesn't tell us where it was sunk, or even if it was sunk by the British or by the Portuguese.

The main characters of "Cover Navara" are Captain Peter Humberden, a new British officer, a young British woman who has been taken prisoner while serving aboard the Prince of Wales and a young Portuguese who served as the cook on the ship. and was also on board the Queen Anne's Revenge. There is a story about the British captain's son and his relationship with one of the women on board. the crew. This book is written in the third person and so the narrator has to be constantly referring to the events that take place.

I like "Cover Navara" as a good adventure story and I know that it will appeal to people who like a good old fashioned pirate story. In addition to that, it does have some excellent descriptions of some of the places and the culture of the time.
